"I highly recommend the field of Holistic Counseling to anyone who is into natural healing, diet, herbs, organic gardening and other natural approaches to mental, physical and spiritual wellness. I had a small vitamin shop for many years, but a big store opened and took away our business. I tried many other occupations, and then a friend referred me to the Phoenix State University certification program. I loved the eclectic approach to the whole person, from finance and career to health and wellness. Most people think that working with all aspects of a person's stress and health is good for the person, but honestly it also is good for your practice too because you can attract a much wider client base, and much higher income, by adding specialties to your practice."

"I'm a vitamin freak, and who would have thought that my radical beliefs about natural healing could also become a great new career and business! I don't ever ask clients to leave their doctor, but by adding supplements, herbal remedies, diet, exercise and meditation to their life, they gradually get off the treadmill of interacting drugs and junk food, which I believe is really 80% of the problem! I'm making about $80,000 a year part time rather than the huge incomes some of your grads seem to make, but I am also blind, and the opportunities open to me otherwise would have been much less."
